Paul McElroy – Owner Builder
Right from the beginning, home building was engrained in Paul. He worked alongside his father who was a custom home builder in Florida. As a young man, Paul was learning and taking sincere interest in the field of work. Striking off on his own, Paul went to work for the Taylor Woodrow Corporation, an international construction company headquarted in London, England. He gained insightful experience in all phases of construction while working with many of the leading architects in the field of custom home design during his tenure. As the company’s youngest regional manager in North America, Paul managed the construction of more than 100 custom homes per year. Destiny led Paul to Northwest Montana in 1992. While visiting friends in Whitefish, he saw and experienced what “quality of life” really meant. Within a single week after visiting Whitefish, he had made plans to move his family to Montana. Not one to waste any time, Paul formed Montana Build soon after arriving. As a rustic residential builder in several exclusive communities, Paul has become the preferred builder at Iron Horse and Whitefish Mountain Resort because of his innate commitment to excellence and professionalism. With this foundation, Paul continues to do what he does best – build distinctive custom homes.

His next position with a specialty contractor, whom constructed lavish swimming pools encompassed in natural landscapes, gave him the opportunity to connect more with client’s before, during, and after the project’s completion. Once again, Tim sought out a higher education and enrolled at The State University of New York at Delhi where he acquired his Associates in Construction Technology and is near completion of his Bachelors in Construction Management. Before coming to Montana Build, Tim worked on multiple housing projects at a time where he was involved in many aspects of the project timelines.
